Comments
QdJb-1: Sutherland comments that RIDDL-325 places the occupation in Middle Dorset time. Middle Dorset is not well represented in the High Arctic and, in general, relatively little is known about this period in the Dorset cultural continuum. Hence the presence of a Middle Dorset occupation is significant. Late Dorset culture is also represented at Fellfoot Point, and evidence for earlier Palaeoeskimo occupation was found in the vicinity in 1985.
