- PeJr-1, Learmonth: The site contains 16 Thule winter houses, occasional Dorset artifacts, but no European artifacts. McCartney comments on the Saskatchewan dates: Houses 1 and 5 are close together on the same beach ridge, suggesting contemporary occupation. Although the dates are similar, they appear too early in view of the earliest Canadian Thule estimates at AD 950 to 1050. House 15, isolated at one edge of the house cluster, dates closer to the expected age. Artifacts suggest cultural continuity and contemporaneity of the houses. S-1323 and S-1325 may consist of driftwood older than the houses.
