Comments
GbTh-12, Old Channel: This village site contains a few small housepits terraced in a slope. The housepits are small and rectangular, about 6 m long by 4 m wide, bordered on the sides and back by steep berms apparently constructed from leveling the floor by cutting into the hillside, leaving a U-shaped depression. A central hearth feature was located in each house. Shovel tests revealed a single cultural layer in each house, associated with charcoal and firecracked rock, but no artifacts were discovered.
