Sample is from subsurface basin of feature, which may indicate last use of feature (sampling toss zone may indicate older use); feature form consistent with similar features from time period (see Nicolaides et al 2009, 2010; Lepofsky and Peacock 2004)

Comments

A thumbnail scraper identified on the ground surface is the only other cultural material assocaited with site EeRi-184; no additional archaeological remains were identified by a shovel testing program in the vicinity of Feature 1.
