DiSd-VP, Qualicum Beach: The Early Wisconsinan Dashwood Drift outcrops in the present intertidal zone. It yielded the remains of an adult female walrus that died perhaps 70,000 years ago. This is the most complete Pleistocene walrus specimen from the west coast of North America.
