Context
Area B, charcoal underneath Feature 6, a cluster of grinding stone frags. Grid sq N-101. 19 fragments. All fresh, unweathered, but commonly oxidized by burning. Found at the same level as Features 3 and 5, but the date is 700 years older than Feature 3. Thus, the GS is thought to rest on and be imbedded in a layer that is older than the grinding stones themselves.
