Feature 9, a charcoal concentration located around a large boulder in the Basal Unit 1, within Level 5B. Consists of large chunks and scattered charcoal flecks (pine), within an area meas. 60 x 15 cm, 5 cm deep. No soil staining assoc, thus it may not have burned in situ. 1 microflace recovered. Interpreted as noncultural.
