- Charcoal from Feature Ia., a Component I feature. The date was rejected by the author as too recent. It is a deep, basin shaped hearth built over a large boulder in the basal Unit 1 layer. Top is 45-48 cm bmgs. Boulder forms base. It meas. 60 cm in dia., 15 cm deep. Dated sample is from lower fill. Trace amts of charcoal, but no artifacts.
