Comments
DgPl-86: Cultural materials were scattered throughout the Unit B colluvium, ranging from the Mummy Cave series to the Late side-notched types. Although vertical distributions suggested the presence of at least four occupation levels, "the association of diagnostic artifacts and lithic types with these floors cannot be established with a high degree of reliability because of the relatively small sample size and extensive rodent disturbance" (Reeves, 1972: 81). The same problem must also pertain to the radiocarbon samples.
