Context
Possible juniper charcoal from Feature 1. The feature was probably truncated by repeated plowing. Feature 1 was an unburned pit, 102 x 55 cm, 35 cm deep. Excavated into sterile native sediments; its earthern walls and based were unlined and unburned. Fill base oxidized loam mixed with a few adobe frags, charcoal flecks and pieces, ash pockets; no artifacts. Blood residue on the adobe was identified as dog.
