Context
Feature 5, Occupation Surface 1b (Stratum II), Component 3. Feature 5 was a small pit at the E edge of Block, between Features 1 and 3. Only half of the feature was excavated; this portion meas. 45 cm in dia., 26 cm deep. The surface of origin was 40 cm bmgs. Fill was much like that in Stratum II, but darker. The intact half contained 23 pieces of burned stone weighing 8.75 kg. A small number of charred goosefoot seeds were in the fill.
