- FdOt-9, Wells: A 46 sq. m excavation yielded 1020 artifacts, 1925 faunal specimens (mainly small fragments), and 2477 pieces of fired rock. This is a multi-component campsite with evidence of extensive food processing that may have been associated with bison pounding. The initial occupation appears to represent a Samantha (Besant) campsite dating to about AD 500. One or more Old Women's phase occupations followed, ranging from AD 700 to AD 800.
