Comments
GcEl-1, Lac Delorme, comments by D. Denton: The disturbance of this structure is reason for some caution in accepting QU-986. Nevertheless, the date is plausible, and the charcoal was directly associated with the calcined bone. This date marks the earliest occurrence of pottery in the Caniapiscau region: a few small, undecorated sherds recovered near the deposit of structure 3-4.
