Comments
CbHs-4, Chiblow 3: This is a portage and fishing camp affiliated with protohistoric and historic Algonkians. The date fits with other temporal evidence. Cooper and Savage (1994: 18) report that spiral fractures on large extremity bones reveal deliberate fracturing, but the sample is too small for interpreting butchering patterns. Occupation in spring, summer, and/or autumn is suggested.
