Comments
OePe-35 (00-DCA-180): This site contains 5 Palaeoeskimo dwelling features over about 80 m distance on very coarse beach gravel at 15 m elevation. At the west end of the site are 2 isolated box hearths with 20 or more boiling stones each; then a large paved area measuring 4 x 0.75 m with hold-down rocks in front; then 2 more isolated box hearths without boiling stones. Charcoal was collected from the westernmost hearth from 5-15 cm depth in open-work gravel.
