- EcOr-35, Ramillies: This is a multicomponent bison kill and campsite. A bison trap (XU 3) on the top edge of a coulee consists of a large hollow formed in part by natural agents and in part by a man-made earth and stone wall. A second kill area (XU 2), perhaps a snowbank or jump, is located below XU 3 on the upper slope of the coulee. A campsite related to one or both kills is situated on the coulee floor. Occupation 1 is attributed to the Old Women's phase and is dated by S-1016. Occupation 2, dated by S-1015, includes both Old Women's and Avonlea materials and may represent a transition between phases. Occupation 3 represents a pure Avonlea component.
