feature 90, hearth, Sopris phase. Feature 90, located in Mound 3. Found upon excavation through the floor of F-77, the Level IV floor was delineated ca. 2.-.4 ft below the floor of F-77. F-90 was ca. 5 ft S and E of the Level 3 central hearth. Meas. 2.5 ft in dia., 1.2 ft deep. Fill was ash and charcoal, along with burned bone frags., GS, Zea mays, proj pt, sherds, and flakes. Bottom contained 24 FCR (river cobbles). Edges of the hearth were highly oxidized
