- Feature 12, a slab-lined hearth, immediately adjacent to another hearth, Feature 11. Fea 12 had a partial ring of 5 upright flattened stones around an area measuring 65 cm in dia. Deep, with slab-lined sides and base; the latter 23-25 cm below the eroded surface. Upper fill was beach sand; lower fill was dark, charcoal-stained sediments. One quartzite flake from the fill.
