Comments
CiDg-20, Duck Blind: This site is typical of late prehistoric occupations along saltwater tidal estuaries in this part of New Brunswick. Earlier occupations are suspected but are now in submerged context. Similar sites in the region are considered proto-Micmac dating between 1450 and 550 BP. S-2881 should date the primary occupation on the estuary along with associated lithic types and a late ceramic horizon.
