- Charcoal from Feature 20, one of 2 probable hearths in excavation unit X47. Surrounded by a substantial ring of of red burned earth. A shallow unlined basin with charcoal, dark stained sedimentts, and a small number of quartzite flakes. (No measurements given.) NOTE: Jones 1986a reports a date of 6427 +/- 130 that I need to reconcile with the date herein. Wood from Feature 2(A813). Alpine shows date as 5978 +/- 100.
