Comments
DhRr-6, Belcarra Park: The lower of two components represents the Locarno Beach phase, but the radiocarbon date is considered to be somewhat too recent. The younger component, Belcarra Park II, falls into a poorly documented time period between the Marpole and Stselax phases. Hanson includes it in her study of Developed Coast Salish subsistence, but only one of the two radiocarbon dates fits comfortably into that concept.
