- Basal sedge peat (NaOH-insoluble fraction) from 46 to 47 cmdepth in a bog northeast of archeological sie 5 BL 120....The peat overlies outwash sands and gravels, and provides a minimum age for breaching of the outer Satana Peak moraine at the site, for dissection of Satana Peak outwash in the Fourth of July valley. The NaOH-soluable fraction of the sample was dated at 2875 +/- 95 BP (I-5453).
