Comments
NiTs-2, Pond: This is a Mackenzie Inuit winter village protected from erosion by a ridge formed of Pleistocene deltaic deposits paralelling the Mackenzie River at a point where the ridge has been breached by a stream draining a chain of interior lakes. At least seven house remains occur among the dense willows covering the site, and two of these have been excavated.
