- bone collagen from an elk calcaneum. Test Unit 4, Locus C. Five levels excavated within a single layer, with artifacts recovered from all levels. Density increased at the bottom of Level 3, with the dated elk bone coming from Level 4. Assoc. with that level was a GS artifact, several FSTs, and debitage.
