- The site is on the northern mainland coast of British Columbia, 6.8 kilometers west of Prince Rupert. It is located at Bencke Point on the north side of Venn Passage 1.4 kilometers east of Metlakatla Village; By boat from Prince Rupert. A launching ramp for small boats is available at Rushbrook Docks. The distance from Rushbrook Docks to the site is 9.8 kilometers. Use caution when approaching the site as there are rocks just offshore.
