The site is on the northern coast of B.C., 11.6 kilometers northwest of Prince Rupert. It is located on the west side of Tsimpsean Peninsula at the northern end of Duncan Bay. The tip of Ryan Point is 510 m west of the site. By boat from Prince Rupert. Boats can be launched at the Rushbrook Docks. The site is 15.5 kilometers from the dock by boat. The beach in front of the site is rocky and it is best to land at a sandy beach 200 meters southeast of the site. Watch for storm
