Comments
GlIw-5, Ile de l'Ourson 1: This is one of the few uses of Severn River islands and could very well document a particular caribou procurement strategy. Some calcined bone fragments were recovered, fire-cracked rock was noted and a lens of bone was observed at the base of the peat. Spiral fractures, polishing and stone tool cut marks were abundant on the bones.
