EePf-1, Cluny: Forbis noted that the radiocarbon date presented a problem in that it was too recent to reconcile with historical evidence. However, the newly established bristlecone pine calibration pushed the age back to a more acceptable time period, namely 140 BP or AD 1810 +/- 80. Considering all lines of evidence, Forbis proposes an age of AD 1740 +/- 10 years.
