Context
pit 1, surface of charcoal layer beneath 1.5 ft of loose debris in the center of a rock-walled pit, with Hogback phase corner-notched points. Charcoal from the floor of Pit No. 1. Date is consistent with typological cross dating of the small C/N proj pts found in the pit and with geological and lichenometric evidence. See description of assoc. artifacts in Site Description.
