Comments
DhAi-7, Cape Cove 3: Fourteen features were uncovered, among which only Feature 4, a stone tool manufacturing area, was definitely not a hearth. Feature 4 has not been dated but is assigned to the Cow Head complex. Feature 10, dated by S-1862, is attributed to the Beaches complex. Feature 11 contained a micropoint diagnostic of the Little Passage complex, but the date obtained from S-1863 is much too early for this complex and must represent some earlier occupation that was not isolated in excavations.
