Context
Feature 6, a semicircular daub feature excavated in 1982. The daub was found in 2 concentrations (A and B); numerous cobbles of local basalt and unmodified jasper were found to occur in a patterned arrangement around the subfeatures; they may form part of the structural remains. However, each subfeature is oriented around a different central point. Feature 6 was apparently constructed on a ground surface several centimeters bmgs. One stratum was located during excavation of Feature --a very dark sediment that filled the pits in which subfeatures A and B were located and formed a thin stratum connecting the 2 pits. This level contained the majority of artifacts. The function of the 2 subfeatures has not been determined.
