Comments
DiSe-7, Deep Bay: This is a stratified site containing shell midden and non-shell deposits excavated by natural layers (strata) on several subdivision lots in advance of development. All dates were obtained from Lot 73, and only the fauna from dated strata at that lot are recorded in this database. Monks also reports on faunal remains from a similar stratified sequence at Lot 81. Depth below surface at N218/W57 was read from Monks (1977: Fig. 7a).
