- 6SW/2SE, 11-19 cm depth, base of stratigraphic unit 2, with a stemmed projectile point, chipping debris and oxidized pebbles. Charcoal from 11 to 20 cm depth in a late Altithermal A1 horizon at archeological site 5BL67, east of the sumit of Mount Albion (Benedict 1970a). The charcoal was directly associated with the base of a Duncan projectile point and other cultural material. The date applies to soil formation at the site, gives a minumum age for an interval of intense solifluction, and a maximum age for reactivation of patterned ground during the Triple Lakes advance. Given a credibility level of None because it is not a cultural date.
