- DhRt-3, Musqueam North: This village site is about 250 m long and 21-30 m wide. Maximum depth was originally perhaps 1.2 m. Before clearing and cultivation began in the early 20th century, the site supported an old coniferous forest. Surface collecting has yielded more than 1000 artifacts that suggest the village is a pure component of the Marpole phase. The house sampled by GaK-1283 is located in the eastern third of the site. Strata overlying the dated hearth consist of about 50 cm of successive hearths and other house floor deposits topped by about 25 cm of cultivated soil.
