Comments
DhAi-5, Cape Cove 1: The site is situated on the north end of a long, peat-covered sand ridge where protuding granite rocks form level, sand-covered platforms. Four hearth features were uncovered, along with chipped stone projectile points, a contracting stemmed lance, groundstone objects, and detritus. S-1860 is a late Maritime Archaic date, whereas S-1859 is one of the earliest dates for the region.
